Samsung and Virgin Mobile originally showed off the Galaxy Reverb almost a month ago, outlining the device’s features along with a couple of other pre-paid focused devices coming down the pipe from Samsung. During the event, though, details regarding a finalize release date were a bit fuzzy. That comes to an end today, though, as Virgin Mobile has officially put the device up for pre-order to anyone ready to pull the trigger.
The Samsung Galaxy Reverb features a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, and there’s a 1.4GHz processor under the hood. You’ll find 768MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, and microSD card support if you do find yourself needing some extra space. On the back, there’s a 5MP camera and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter for good measure.
The battery measures in at 1,700mAh and the Galaxy Reverb will launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
